Here at Tait House childcare we listen to our parents! Last month we provided details of a Summer camp with The Gaff and our wonderful neighbours The Hub.

Due to phenomenal response of our architecture and theatre based summer camp planned for August which fully booked in a few hours, Tait House decided to invest and augment our current summer camp which runs all summer long for 30 children.

So from last week we were delighted to introduce our summer camp children to this duel disciplines of drama and architecture with tutors Manuela and Aisling.

Manuela has over 6 years’ experience as a design architect working both here in Ireland and Germany. She is a creative, multi-talented Design Architect with a strong creative flair. Manuela offers a positive, forward thinking and able to offer creative solutions to design tasksShe creates workshops to suit the children’s ages and abilities, creating fun and exciting ways for the children to learn about architecture.

The children received an introduction to architecture this week with Manuela and really enjoyed learning about architecture. We are looking forward

to welcoming Manuela back on the 6th August for more.

Aisling is a recent graduate and will be providing 3 different workshops with our children. We look forward to welcoming Aisling on the 8th August to experience different workshops around drama.

We would like to thank you the public for supporting us as Money raised through the Tesco Community Blue token appeal has contributed us to allowing us to provide the opportunity for our children to explore these various disciplines.

The camps are running as part of our childcare services. For further details, contact Rachel on 061- 313019
